Access-Ability Summer Showcase 2025: Airships: Lost Flotilla
Airships: Lost Flotilla by David Stark and Metaroot launched on the 23rd of January 2025, a bullet-hell roguelike title with survivor elements where you'll fight against various enemies. After your fleet was betrayed and ambushed, you'll need to head out to find scrap to upgrade your ship and battle robot wasps, cultists, and dragons as you try to escape and find safety.
Airships: Lost Flotilla made an appearance in Access-Ability, as the developer wanted to share some insight into the various accessibility features available in the game. Here's what the trailer highlighted in terms of options:
- Fully playable with any input option: keyboard, mouse, and controller.
- Fully-remappable controls.
- Detailed visual settings to remove clutter that might appear on the screen and cause distractions. You can alter the particles, animations, explosion flashes, damage numbers, and screen shake between on and off to your liking.
- An option to change the background, switching between full grey (so the screen is as readable as possible) or muted for whatever fits your needs best.
- Colour highlighting mode that lets you highlight enemies as red and wreckage as either blue or green.
- Permadeath can be disabled.
- The game speed is adjustable, letting you pick how fast you want everything to move with a slider.
