Future Games Show 2025: Directive 8020

Fans of The Dark Pictures Anthology will be excited to see the newest trailer for Directive 8020, which premiered today at the Future Games Show 2025. From gruesome monsters to tense standoffs, the atmosphere is immediately heavy in this interactive sci-fi tale.

Will Doyle, Creative Director of Directive 8020, shared a completely new Dark Pictures feature that’s being introduced in 8020: Turning Points. This narrative feature allows you to rewind and change your choices.

You can also track your choices across the branching story, and using Turning Points, you can see how missions play out differently or retrieve missing collectables that you didn’t get the first time around. If you want to stick to your decisions, you can select the Survivor Mode setting that prevents you from rewinding.

Directive 8020 is coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on the 2nd of October 2025.
