MIX Summer Game Showcase: Esoteric Ebb

Developed by Christoffer Bodegård and published by Raw Fury, ESOTERIC EBB is a table-top-RPG-turned-CRPG featured in the Endix Showcase earlier in the year. Take control of the expert in all sorts of esoteric events — The Cleric — as you embark on a journey to answer a question that clearly no one wants you to solve.

It's five days until the first-ever election, and you were sent to by the city to deal with the mess... only you woke up in a morgue with water in your boots (ew), ten thousand rotting apples (ew), several corpses (ew!), and one zombie (friend or foe?). Delve into the official investigation to solve an impossible mystery, juggle factions and play them against each other, and master the metropolis as the world's worst cleric... because with TTRPG dice rolls, you'll need to roll some Nat 20s to get through this one.

• Utilise the full array of The Cleric's powers: control minds, detect secrets in tunnels or in the thoughts of your enemies, speak with anyone — living and dead...
• The Clerics of Norvik are always taught to use violence as a last resort, but the last resort will be inevitable as the game advances. Roll for your life and find unique solutions to your problems once you roll too low.
• Engage with the unique Questing Tree, working as your skill tree, quest log, and mind map all at once, as your decisions affect The Cleric's playstyles as you advance through in-game feats.
