Access-Ability Summer Showcase 2025: BLOW-UP: AVENGE HUMANITY
Half Sunk Games and Libert_Gamedev are proud to show off their upcoming high-octane boomer shooter, BLOW-UP: AVENGE HUMANITY. While fast-paced first-person shooters might be a daunting genre filled with clutter, that hasn't stopped the team from trying to create accessibility for all who would need it.
The trailer gives us a look at some of the clever solutions the team has for changing the accessibility options in something far more fast-paced than what we've seen so far. Here's what the trailer gave us a glimpse at:
- Change the enemy outline thickness to make enemies stand out from the background easier.
- Change the enemy outline colour, with a selection from a few colours: black, white, yellow, red, green, and blue.
- A desaturated background option to remove all colour from non-essential elements, letting you see enemies far more clearly.
- HUG opacity slider to declutter your screen.
- Change the crosshair size to make it more or less prevalent at the centre of your screen, letting you see what you're aiming at more clearly.
- Remove additional crosshair information to simplify it.
- Remove chromatic aberration.
- Regulate screenshake with a slider.
- Change the FoV and the First Person FoV.
You can check out BLOW-UP: AVENGE HUMANITY on Steam right now, and you can even find the demo available to play if you're interested in testing it out right away.
