State of Unreal: The Witcher 4

The State of Unreal event kicked off with an extended cinematic featuring a manticore attacking someone.

A merchant was attacked, dropping a coin — a coin for a Witcher. It was picked up by The Witcher character Ciri, giving us a first proper look at The Witcher 4.

There was then a segment on stage with an apparently live play showing Siri on her horse Kelpi. The "live demo" zoomed in to x-ray Kelpi's muscles to match the stage commentary, before showing off the new foliage engine and a look at the gorgeous environments.

The gameplay picked back up with Siri checking in about her contract, but then instead of watching that conversation, the camera moved away to check in with some ambient chatter from the market.

Once the camera went back to Siri, some distance from the town riding Kelpi, and cresting a hill to see a distant castle town.
