Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2025: Grounded 2

Tonight at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, we saw the world premiere to Grounded 2, the sequel to Obsidian Entertainment’s 2022 survival action-adventure game.

The Grounded 2 trailer showcases the tone of the game, with a focus on an explosion at Brookhollow Park to commemorate the second anniversary of when a group of teenagers were shrunk down against their will. In this situation, they’d been forced to survive the horrors of giant insects and more in the backyard of a deranged scientist.

With the four teenagers set to be commemorated by the formerly evil corporation, Ominent Practical Technologies, the explosion marks the disappearance of both a scientist, the robot, and the four teenagers. So, you’ll have to survive an entirely different environment.

Grounded 2 will be available as a game preview on 29th July, and will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, and Steam.
