Wholesome Direct 2025: Out and About

Get your backpack and comfy shoes because Out and About is all about exploration and foraging! This adventure game, developed and published by Yaldi Games, will help you notice the magic and depth of the plants all around our world.

Gain knowledge on herbalism and plants as you adventure in this cosy 3D game with hopes of rebuilding your in-game house after a storm destroyed it. Aside from walking through the calm of the forest and picking everything you see, from fungi to flowers, there are many recipes to discover and conquer.

So, here's what you can expect from Out and About:

• Customise your character.
• Discover and identify over 100 real-life plants and fungi to learn more about them.
• Over 150 real-life recipes with step-by-step guides (including herbal remedies).
• Explore an open world full of natural wonders, from dense forests to grasslands and beaches.
• Meet various characters and become part of the community in Portobello.

While the game doesn't have a release date yet, a new playtest was announced during the Wholesome Direct 2025! Try out the game and give feedback to help it grow. Out and About will be available on the Epic Games Store and Steam.
