Summer Game Fest 2025: Sonic Racing Crossworlds

SEGA and Sonic Team’s latest kart-racing Sonic spin-off, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, has some important updates coming in before its release this September! In addition to an already wide cast of Sonic characters, including several hailing from the Sonic Riders subseries and bringing their hoverboards with them, several new characters are here: the world-renowned Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s Ichiban Kasuga, and Persona 5’s Joker. And that’s not all, because several Minecraft characters, like Steve, are present too.

Coming in hot with online cross-platform matchmaking, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds releases on the 25th of September, 2025 for Windows, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
