Black Voices in Gaming 2025: The Rabbit Haul

Presented by Mickael Zerihoun of Caldera Interactive, The Rabbit Haul is a cosy farming and tower defense roguelike where you play as a rabbit named Sprout. After a band of raccoons named the Trash Panda Posse destroys your hometown, it’s up to you to defend your harvest with an increasing supply of plants, defensive towers, and weapons. The winner of Games Done Quick’s Pitch Competition, The Rabbit Haul will see you upgrading your plants and other supplies between runs to ensure you can hold off the Posse for as long as pawssible.

The Rabbit Haul doesn’t yet have a release date announced, but if you join the Discord server, you might be able to participate in a public playtest hosted there this Summer. Whatever the case, it will eventually be released on Windows.
