Future Games Show 2023: Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson

A world out of tune. A land whose music is corrupted. This cannot stand! In Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson, by developer Ritual Studios and publisher Playdigious, take on the role of Rob, a friendly musician trying to return harmony and music to the land. In this turn-based RPG, you'll wield legendary instruments and battle the evil (and music themed!) goons of Rick Riffson with epic riffs and powerful crescendos.

From what we've seen in the Future Games Show Announcement trailer, the game offers a humorous story with beautiful pixel art and creative enemies! The combat system seems especially interesting, as it fuses elements of rhythm games and turn-based RPGs. Fretless is set to release during 2024, and you can wishlist it on Steam to keep in the loop!
