The first gameplay trailer for the second entry in the continuing Final Fantasy VII Remake saga, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth raises more questions than we already had going in. Showcasing characters from the PlayStation original, like Hojo and Red XIII, in their new modern forms, it also provided snippets of the story that will surely raise eyebrows to long-time fans.
The trailer also showcases a lot more open areas than what we saw in Final Fantasy VII Remake. Seemingly focusing on the desert area surrounding presumably Cosmo Canyon and a few other areas fans will recognise.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a PlayStation 5 console exclusive and will release in Early 2024 and as the trailer tells us, will be on TWO discs.
