Ubisoft Forward 2023: Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

Tonight at the Ubisoft Forward Showcase, we were able to see a cinematic trailer for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

In this trailer, we saw a variety of the enemies you can expect to fight and a selection of techniques that you may be able to perform within the game.

However, more details arose at the end of the game, as Mounir Radi, the game director of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, took to the stage to reveal more in their second trailer featuring a glimpse at the gameplay.

Set in a mythical Persian world, you play as Saga, a fearless prodigy, the youngest of seven elite warriors. One night, Prince Hassan, the heir to the throne, is abducted and taken to a hostile land. Saga and his brothers-in-arms are sent on a rescue mission to save him, but it will send you straight into the lion's den.

When you enter enemy territory, it becomes full of hostile inhabitants. Saga is separated from his allies, and time flows differently. The past and future coexist, and exploration is everything. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a semi-open world adventure that allows you to find new secrets and powers.

To reach new areas, you need to master Saga's skills and your own sense of timing. During this epic journey, there will be others trapped with you. You can meet some dwellers who are glad to help, while others are more reluctant.

We then view some of the gameplay, where we see Saga's sword skills in action. He is known for being ruthless on the battlefield and uses his anger as a weapon. The battle sequences appear to be dynamic, and you'll be glad to know that time powers are back. However, your enemies also hold this power in their hands too.

Combining all your skills allows you to express your creativity to solve mysteries and defeat opponents.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on the 28th of January, 2024, on Windows, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
