MIX Summer Game Showcase: Temtem: Swarm

From Temtem developer Crema and GGTech Studios comes the official spin-off for the title Temtem: Swarm, a Vampire Survivors take on the team's Pokémon-inspired MMO that recently finished its content updates with the launch of version 1.8. This time around, though, you'll take control of the monsters as you utilise their numerous powers to mow through waves of enemies, securing your victory by using ultimate abilities to bring down the toughest of boss battles.

The game launched on Early Access on the 13th of November 2024, and it has since seen a fair few updates to keep the title interesting. New Temtem, maps, techniques, and meta upgrades are being added with each new major upgrade, ensuring that players are staying up-to-date with all-new fun mechanics to engage with while they wait for the release of 1.0.

You can also take a friend with you into the fray, letting them pick their favourite Temtem, too, and ensuring that you have the opportunity to share the experience with someone else. Here are the key features for Temtem: Swarm's Early Access:

• Take on the battle with up to two other players to face against the relentless swarm of Tems together, including a recently added matchmaking system to let you find friends to play with while fighting the increasingly tougher bosses that stand in your way.
• Fight against challenging mini-bosses that stand in your way, including powerful tems that you'll recognise from Temteml ike Gharunder, Yowlar, and Nessla, each bringing their own unique spin to the battlefield.
• Use your powerful Tem ultimate abilities to unleash their full potential and turn the tides of battle in your favour. From clearing a map for more accessibility to motion to rescuing your fallen friend, you'll be relying on your ultimate ability to give you openings for combat.
• Endure, advance, and evolve, as you grow and adapt throughout the match. Gather enough XP, and you'll be able to evolve your Tem into their newest evolution form, bringing in massive power-ups to both skills and passive traits.
• Catch 'em all with the option to find, defeat, and become many of the Tem from the universe.
