Access-Ability Showcase 2026: Colorbound

As Anku, players will set forth across the land in hopes of reuniting their grandfather's band. Set in the diverse lands of the Andes, the world offers various colour-based platforming puzzles and numerous heartwarming stories.

The game appeared in this year's Access-Ability Showcase, and the team touched on how they made sure they could accommodate all types of players, even those with colour blindness. Here are the settings mentioned:

  • Three alternate colour schemes: Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia.
  • The ability to disable camera shake.
  • Increase the size of the UI.
  • Adjust resolution.
  • Approachable for players with limited mobility, such as by not requiring rapid pressing.
  • Full input remapping for keyboard, mouse, and controller.
  • Mouse inputs can be remapped to keyboard controls.
  • Presets for one-handed controls.
  • No time limits or penalties.
  • Hints for every level.

Colorbound is set to release sometime in 2026 for Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
