Access-Ability Showcase 2026: Colorbound
As Anku, players will set forth across the land in hopes of reuniting their grandfather's band. Set in the diverse lands of the Andes, the world offers various colour-based platforming puzzles and numerous heartwarming stories.
The game appeared in this year's Access-Ability Showcase, and the team touched on how they made sure they could accommodate all types of players, even those with colour blindness. Here are the settings mentioned:
- Three alternate colour schemes: Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia.
- The ability to disable camera shake.
- Increase the size of the UI.
- Adjust resolution.
- Approachable for players with limited mobility, such as by not requiring rapid pressing.
- Full input remapping for keyboard, mouse, and controller.
- Mouse inputs can be remapped to keyboard controls.
- Presets for one-handed controls.
- No time limits or penalties.
- Hints for every level.
Colorbound is set to release sometime in 2026 for Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
