Latin American Games Showcase 2026: Grim Trials

Developed by Glory Jam and published by Soft Source, Grim Trials is an upcoming action-packed title where players embody an aspiring Grim Reaper. As Avelin, they'll spend their time trying to prove their worth, learning from their mentors, befriending other Reapers, and uncovering the secrets of life and death.

Avelin met an untimely death and was recruited by one of Death's Reapers. Now, she's tasked with hunting down impure souls, facing her demons, and fighting through an underworld of her own making... all in hopes of becoming a full-fledged Reaper herself to see her still-living love once more.

Seven sacrilegious bosses await them across numerous hex-grid arenas full to the brim with monsters, souls, and traps. Players will have a variety of customisable scythes and crossbows at their disposal to do just that, as well as powerful Blessings from the Gods of Death. In this action roguelite, the spoils of war are used to craft and customise the arsenal.
