Women-Led Games SGF Showcase: Find Me
Set in a surreal cityscape, Find Me is a 2D puzzle platformer about a lost shadow who is hoping to reunite with her human girl. As she searches, she'll uncover memories and avoid dangerous lights!
Find Me was created by Team Invenio — a group of middle school girls back in 2017 during their Girls Make Games Summer Camp stay in San Francisco, CA. For those who don't know, these summer camps and workshops hope to inspire the next generation of creators, engineers, and designers!
The videogame summer camp mentors girls from the ages of eight to 18, helping them learn to code and design their own titles. Each camp culminates in Demo Day: a national competition where teams from around the country pitch their games to industry professionals. The Grand Prize offers them an extended mentorship and the opportunity to produce and publish their games.

As the winner of the 2017 Demo Day, Find Me raised over $29K on Kickstarter! This year, it was part of the Women-Led Games showcase, where we got to see snippets of the game via the storytelling art and some gameplay.
Find Me is available on itch.io now and has been out on Steam since December 2020!
GameGrin are proud to have all their articles researched, written, and edited by real people that care about gaming.
