Women-Led Games SGF Showcase: RatScum

Eclair Games showcased its upcoming story-rich adventure, RatScum, during the Women-Led Games SGF Showcase. Taking on the role of a furry protagonist, players awaken in a sewer, hoping to find their way back home.

The title is entirely hand-drawn, focusing on atmospheric and puzzle-driven gameplay. Throughout the experience, players will get to meet a cast of characters, each with their own aspirations and desperations to find a safe place.

To go back to its home, the furry protagonist will have to solve puzzles, avoid dangers, and platform throughout the world beneath the floorboards. Hide in the shadows, avoid the dangers that await, and don't get caught... most tenants aren't fond of rodent visitors.

The trailer shows off the world and abilities shown in RatScum. Learning more about the skills, the gameplay, and even the hidden narrative to uncover throughout the experience, all in the path to get back home, following a narrative of hope and brighter futures.
