Women-Led Games SGF Showcase: Abigail

During the Women-Led Games SGF Showcase, we got to learn a bit more about Abigail. Developed by hapshapen games, this narrative-focused title invites players to take control of the titular character.

The title is a third-person adventure where players will travel through Kiln Bay, Abigail's hometown, as she comes to grips with a past that no longer exists, alongside a future that doesn't belong to her. She used to be the centre of her friend group, but now, years later, she's found them scattered, changed.

Get to meet her friends, explore the town, rekindle the old friendships that have been lost to the sands of time, and decide what Kiln Bay becomes to Abigail. Engage in Azulejo, the trading-card game with ever-shifting rules, gather cards in collect-a-thon gameplay, and unravel the narrative throughout the experience.
