Wholesome Direct 2026 — The Wandering Village: The Last Leviathan

The Wandering Village is a city builder set atop a giant creature. The title was developed by Stray Fawn Studio and published alongside WhisperGames. It released back on the 17th of July 2025, and it has received over 3,000 reviews on Steam and a rating of Very Positive!

During the Wholesome Direct 2026, we saw the announcement trailer for the upcoming DLC, called The Wandering Village: The Last Leviathan! Players can expect a new creature — a massive amphibian! This will bring new buildings, resources, a different tech tree, and tons of hours of fresh content.

In addition to that, there is a free update available, which adds more depth to the interaction with Onbu and the new creature and a new biome: Arctic Ocean. Namely, body temperature, mood mechanics, and cosmetics will all be added!

The Wandering Village is available now on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
