Latin American Games Showcase 2026: Sente
Oxoxbox Games Studios and Curveball Games showed off their upcoming Sente in the Latin American Games Showcase 2026. The title is a 1–6 multiplayer experience where players will have to make decisions and battle in a simultaneous board-game experience.
Every player moves at the same time, so it’ll require precision and understanding to create the right choices and get the victory. There’s a campaign mode to get players acquainted with the experience and learn the rules of Sente, alongside battling against the various opponents with their own strategies and plans for their turns.
Games end when either of the players manages to get into the other’s core directly, resulting in a critical overload. Proper strategy and planning will lead to victory, and matches will be decided by those who can outmanoeuvre their opponents consistently and confidently.
The title is focused on its multiplayer PvP element, offering various strategies and options for players to enjoy. Further emphasising it is the replay option, which allows players to rewatch their games and review the mistakes and issues they made along the way — every defeat is something new to learn.
Though there’s still some solo-play outside of the narrative campaign, with various AI difficulty options to satiate the best Sente players who might not want to engage with online opponents. There are also local multiplayer options (even for the narrative), and two base game modes: free-for-all or team-based ones.
If you’re interested in checking out Sente, there’s a demo available on Steam for players to check eam! The title is set to release sometime in Q3 2026.
