Women-Led Games SGF Showcase: Vale's Echo

Developed and published by Hollow Beak Games, Vale's Echo is an upcoming puzzle title where players will embody the titular protagonist in a cosy 2D horror that blends dark comedy with psychological themes and surreal art.

After Vale dies, she finds herself on a train to nowhere without a clue of who she used to be. Beside her is her only companion: Echo, a floating skull who seems to hold many secrets.

Players' choices and dialogue will eventually unravel the story and weave her fate. They'll uncover her memories and how she died while also trying to outwit the Underworld.

During the Women-Led Showcase, we got to see a bit of behind-the-scenes as the team spoke about their experience developing the game! The video also showcases gameplay and art.
