Summer Game Fest 2026: HAEX

Developed and published by Dead Astronauts, HAEX is an upcoming procedurally generated open-world title where players can go up against an alien threat alone or with up to three friends. Characters and worlds are separated in terms of progression, meaning players can jump into a friend’s game and have all of their gear! 

Thanks to a sentient cube that players uncover, they can effortlessly scan the surroundings and gather resources. It can be upgraded to increase its capabilities, which will eventually unlock alien abilities for players.

It’s not just enemies players have to fear: hunger, temperature, and resources will all be a detriment throughout the journey. Thankfully, they’ll have many gadgets and weapons at their disposal to fight these off!
