Women-Led Games SGF Showcase: Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker

Developed and published by Gentle Troll Entertainment, Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker is a new title set in the same universe as the original title, Tavern Talk. Although the narrative is set 36 years before the first game, it works as a standalone experience, meaning newcomers can jump straight into it.

In this Dungeons & Dragons–inspired visual novel, players will embody a tavern owner as they meet a cast of eight adventurers. Although they will be running their tavern, there is no management or economy: just mixing drinks to serve.

The twist is that these delicacies have magical properties, and there are several to choose from. Depending on what they give the characters, they will affect their fate! The first playthrough offers about 10 to 12 hours, and there are three different endings to get.

Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker made an appearance in this year's Women-Led Games Showcase! The video showcases the decoration mode and some of the various items players can put in the background.
