Summer Game Fest 2026: Swords of Legend

After the success of Black Myth Wukong, it was inevitable that we were going to see more games based on ancient Chinese legends. But if those games are as stylish and slick as Swords of Legends, we can probably forgive the trend following. 

The latest we’ve seen of this spectacular action-RPG at Summer Games Fest wasn’t a trailer, but it might as well have been one. We watched a whole boss fight from start to finish against Hong Kong Zi -  Master of Cantrip (who appears to be some kind of sentient rug). With battles that look just like a spectacle fighter, Swords of Legends is coming at some unannounced point in the future to Steam, PlayStation 5, and Epic Games Store.
