Wholesome Direct 2026: Discounty

In Discounty, players will manage their very own discount supermarket, setting up the layout and expanding the business. Whenever they're not busy with that, they'll find themselves in the middle of the small town's drama! The title is developed by Crinkle Cut Games and published by PQube.

The title was released on the 21st of August 2025, and the team had some news to reveal during the Wholesome Direct 2026. Namely, they announced an upcoming free expansion called People or Profit?, where players will pick up where they left off and experience one of three branching endings.

This includes collecting resources, helping restore buildings, and even inventing profit-making gadgets! That is whenever they aren't chatting with the Blomkest residents. The free update, People or Profit, is out now!

The other announcement was that the game is releasing on consoles! Discounty is available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store; in July, it will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch.
