Latin American Games Showcase 2026: ARTIUS: Pure Imagination
PVic Games and IndieArk are working together for ARTIUS: Pure Imagination, a momentum-based 2D platformer with a great, hand-drawn aesthetic. With creativity at the verge of extinction, it’s up to our cast of characters to work together and make a mad dash through the various worlds, where style will be the player’s strongest weapon.
The game is set in Rupestrine, a city that was once famous for its artistic history that earned its fame from its robust art, including archaeological sites filled with paintings and all forms of art. However, a jealous student named PIVOLO envied the talent of artists, seizing control of a mystical book called ARTIUS, using it to impose an anti-art regime over the city, becoming its oppressive tyrant.
The four protagonists, Pierre the Painter, Walter the Photographer, René the Musician, and Guga the Dancer, all set out on a high-speed quest as they bolt through the vibrant levels to free Rupestrine from PIVOLO’s oppressive regime. Dash through worlds, switch between characters seamlessly, and master each of the characters’ various forms of art to ensure the resurrection of creativity!
The trailer shows off the narrative and the four protagonists, showcasing the hand-drawn worlds that players will be dashing through. Meet the characters and check out the story in the trailer embedded above!
If you’re interested in checking out the game, ARTIUS: Pure Imagination has released its demo, where players can enjoy an early look at the experience and try their hand at the fast-paced dash through Rupestrine. It’s available on Steam now!
