Summer Game Fest 2026: The Blood of Dawnwalker

Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment’s The Blood of Dawnwalker was featured in this year’s Summer Game Fest. Set in Europe during the 14th century, the title invites players into an open-world dark fantasy RPG where they embody Coen, a human by day and vampire by night.

To save his family, the cursed protagonist has to choose between embracing the dark powers to save them and fighting to keep his humanity. The Blood of Dawnwalker offers two gameplay loops, as different paths will open up depending on what the player does or doesn’t do.

During the Summer Game Fest, we got to see a cinematic trailer that showcases, through CGI, where the saga will lead in the present day; the latter part of the video shows what the upcoming title offers.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is available to pre-order now! The game is set to release on the 3rd of September on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
