Women-Led Games SGF Showcase: Shredded Secrets

During the Women-Led Games SGF Showcase, we got to check out a trailer for Shredded Secrets. Developed by Girls Make Games and Team Sarcastic Shark Clouds, alongside published by the former and LearnDistrict Inc., this is a 2D title where players take on the role of four people.

It's a sweet platforming adventure about the struggles that everyone faces, with players taking on the role of various students (including a bully) and even a teacher from the school. While exploring, the protagonists will be able to find a variety of collectibles, all the while avoiding the insults, mean comments, and struggles that make day-to-day living a nightmare for many people.

It's worth noting that Shredded Secrets is far from a new game, having been launched on the 7th of December 2020. It was developed by a group of middle school girls during the 2018 Girls Make Games Seattle Summer Camp, and it won the grand prize at GMG's 2018 Demo Day competition. It was also successfully funded on Kickstarter back in November 2018, receiving $30,232 from its $25,000 funding goal at the time.
