Summer Game Fest 2026: 1666: Amsterdam
During this year’s Summer Game Fest, Panache Digital Games — an independent studio founded by Patrice Désilets, the creative director of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Assassin’s Creed — unveiled their upcoming dark third-person story-driven action adventure. In 1666: Amsterdam, protagonist Noa has the witchcraft necessary to uncover demonic entities; now, it’s up to her to use them to fight off the entities known as The Originals.
By her side is Aaron, who has been summoned from 1999. He sees the world through the eyes of a cat, and players will be able to switch between them and experience a radical change in gameplay.
