Southeast Asian Games Showcase: Sepak U - Sports Fighting Game

Michael Higham came to the Southeast Asian Games Showcase to tell us about Good Knight Collective’s upcoming Sepak U - Sports Fighting Game. You might not be familiar with the team sport Sepak takraw - I certainly wasn’t before this trailer - but it’s a traditional Southeast Asian sport which has been growing in popularity since its official standardisation in 1960. It can loosely be described as volleyball with your feet, and the real-world version features the kind of acrobatics that a middle-aged man such as myself could only dream of. 

Sepak-U: Sports Fighting Game takes things up a notch compared to real life. With super-stylish visuals, flaming balls, and suits of armour, it gives the vibe of Super Smash Brothers meets the world of the sport colloquially known as foot volleyball. Release is planned for 2027, but you can see the smashing new trailer right up there above my words here.
