Southeast Asian Games Showcase: Kidbash: Super Legend

Waking up with amnesia is, in no small way, a bit of a trope within the gaming sphere; the number of times we’ve bolted up and had no idea where, who, or when we are is honestly a bit worrying. However, in developer Authentic Remixes and Fat Raccoon’s upcoming nostalgic roguelike 2D platformer, Kidbash: Super Legends, it seems the whole world has forgotten. Oh, and it’s published by industry veteran Acclaim!

In the game, our titular hero wakes up in the land of O.D.D., a world populated by forgotten video game characters. Having no memories to go off of, Kidbash fails to save a nearby village and must now set off on a journey of rediscovery. Taking cues from genre classics such as Kirby 64, Kidbash features a colourful 2D platforming adventure. Fill up your power meter and combine two weapons into a unique and powerful attack, or pick up mods to enhance both platforming and combat. Aid the inhabitants of O.D.D. in rebuilding while Kidbash himself rebuilds their identity as a hero.
